Ōtūmoetai College

My early education and introduction to my pathwway to a career in Software Engineering.

About

I attended Ōtūmoetai College as my high school education in Tauranga, New Zealand from 2011, until my graduation in 2015.

Ōtūmoetai College is where I discovered my passion for software development and where I can attribute my earliest experience relating to the industry.

During my time here, in addition to the necessary foundational courses across mathmetatics & calculus, physics, biology, chemistry, and social sciences, I pursued a particular focus on computer science and electronics.

I was awared 1st in both electronics and digital science for my cohort and awarded the Adam K. Clarke Memorial Trophy for Excellence in IT.

In addition, I volunteered as a lighting and sound technician, independently programming and managing lighting cues and operation of a sound mixing desk for a wide variety of live shows and performances. For this, I was awarded the the John Mark Cup for Unselfish Service.
